Catholic Academy
Catholic Academy is a monthly night of family catechesis for parents and their children in kindergarten to 12th grade. This fall we will feed both body and soul as Jesus did at the miracle of the loaves and fishes with a free-will offering community meal followed by speakers for adults, classes for children, and volunteer opportunities for youth. Nursery will also be available. After the meal, all ages will have a short activity or presentation together before the children go off to their classes and the adult speaker begins. Catholic Academy is a key part of both the Family Formation and Discover! programs and is required for families enrolled in those programs.
Separate Catholic Academy registration is required for nursery participants only. K-5 classes are included as part of Discover! or Family Formation registration. Volunteer coordination for youth is included as part of Nisi Dominus registration. No registration is required for adults. Nursery registration details will be available fall 2022.
Catholic Academy is held once a month on the first Wednesday in the Christ the King Parish Hall. There will be a free-will offering community meal and socializing from 5:15 - 6:00. Programming for kids and adults begins at 6:00pm and concludes at 7:30.
